My Bad Art Friend

So, yes, taking another person’s letter or Facebook post in a closed group — then publishing it without attribution or permission — is reason enough to have writers out for blood. I didn’t appreciate it when Sejal Shah, a ‘friend’ and writer did it to me. She knew I was ill when I posted in anger against her in a closed Facebook post. But rather than ask if I was ok — she screenshot my posts, wrote a whole essay about them and published them with no attribution or context, to benefit herself.

People act so disingenuously — what can you do? Look away. Don’t let them steal your soul. When I can get around to it — I work for a living — I will write her publisher(s) for a cease & desist. Maybe they’ll get it this time.
